It still is moving along very slowly but hopefully things will get going earlier in the season this time around... Tanya taking advice from a "real" pimp and growing a backbone could get interesting.

This is just an awesome show.

i absolutely love it. Even though it's tongue in cheek the characters are all very real - Ray, Tanya, Lenore, the kids, are all spot on.

just me or are they hinting at an unhealthy relationship between the son & daughter? & I know this has been said before but the kids couldn't possibly be the offspring of Rick & the ex, far too fugly

I hadn't really thought of that, based on the fact that the son is gay and the sister has too many issues with herself to worry about anyone else.

It would be pretty gross though.

...and the show already has a mail plotline based on sexual innuendo - I think more would just clog the storyline.

I would probably guess that they are becomming close because neither of them can relate to their mom (whether or not she eats the chocolate cake), and they don't get much time with their dad.

I guess we will just have to watch and see.

Seen the first two eps. - not impressed, rather boring...not enough nudity.

Anyway, this show is SO boring. Really nothing happens in an episode and literally the first season went by without a thing happening bar some close encounter with his wife.
I find the pimps story utterly ridiculous and his children are annoying, but nowhere near as annoying as Ray.

Just finished episode 8. This season is really not doing it for me. So so so boring - same thing over and over again. The characters are not progressing at all and Ray is really annoying me now. Not sure if it will get renewed - 2 episodes left this season and I'm not sure that I will follow it for a 3rd series if it does get renewed.

Ratings are pretty low for the series... no word yet from HBO regarding the future of the show, but I'd imagine they'd need to decide relatively soon.

All it seems to be is Ray and the pregnant woman and their kinky sexual exploits.

The only redeeming bit this week was Tanya legging it from the ball game.
