Just out of interest what are the price of these at home? I'm living in Korea at the moment and I always hear people saying that they can be got cheap here. Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry don't know exactly. I bought a pair in france last year or about 25euro, I think. Would imagine it would be the same here, could be wrong. I would imagine, as with most things, Asia would be much cheaper. We could get you to buy in bulk and sell them off to us here:)

Obviously it depends on the model, cheapest are sandals starting around 30 Euro IIRC.
The shop in Paul Street more or less matches the online Birkenstock prices http://www.jestelkg.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv (and they are very nice indeed :))
