I have scalp psoriasis which, thankfully, is fairly mild. However the consequence of which is that my scalp is very sensitive.

I currently use a shampoo (E45) which is for dry scalp but not specifically for psoriasis. I'm not looking for a shampoo or ointment that deals especially with my condition but a 'general' shampoo that I can use along side these specialised treatments.

It would need to natural, or at least contain no harsh perfumes or the like which would irritate my scalp. There seem to be so many shampoos out there it hard to know which one to go for.

So could anyone recommend a good shampoo and/or conditioner which is good for my scalp but also my hair?

i agree with T gel, its excellent. But son't use it all the time, get maybe 3 shampoos and mix them up, they work better that way as your scalp wont know whats gonna hit it every time you wash your hair.

I tried every available brand for years, from cheap supermarket ones to v expensive perscription only shampoos, eventually found Oilatum, its OTC in most chemists and is around E10 for a bottle which lasts me 3 months.

Give it a go but from what I've seen different products suit different people. I'd buy a small bottle and try it for 3 weeks, if you don't get a result switch again and repeat.

My dad uses cold tar for his and it works really well. It smells a bit though. I like the smell, but it is strong.

He has to get it in a chemist however.
