I've a laserline alarm installed in my car and it working perfectly until yesterday when I disconnected the battery to remove the towbar.

It doesn't work off the remote, the car opens and starts through the door lock, it's just the remote central locking feature that doesn't work...

    Any ideas?

The remote most likely needs to be reprogrammed with the alarm. Either try googling to see if there is a DIY solution or you may have to bring it to an alarm techie.

I've been googling since this morning with to avail. Anything that I have found doesn't seem to work.

A friend said he knows a fella who worked with the alarms, so he may know!

Try Des Kennedy, he is usually a wizz with these things.

Give Lawless Automotive a call and ask if they can give the number of an agent local to you. Lawless have been doing Laserline in Dublin for as long as I can remember so they may know of an agent near to you.

I'll chance Des at some point, no better man. I might get him to look at the one or two of the buttons as well.

Do you have the key for the box in the engine bay?
Did you try turning alarm off for a while and then on again?

I didn't get a key sadly, is there any way of turning it off? I had a quick look under the bonnet yesterday and couldn't spot the alarm or this key hole.:o

LM I had a Laserline alarm in my car one time, the battery stopped working in the fob. My key hole was in the glovebox to turn off the alarm, right inside I couldn't see the key hole till I got out of the car and looked up into the box.
After I changed the battery and used the key to turn it off and on again all was well.
Laserline only put the speaker under the bonnet, the control unit is in the dash. Well it was in mine.

I must have a look under the bonnet, the light in the fob is working perfectly though!
