If 'hunting' was not ticked in the FCA1 cert does that mean i can not shoot vermin such as rabbits, foxes, pigeon, etc?

Are you referring to hunting that you would tick in the part for deer hunting?

I am referring to section 4.2 (Reason why this firearm is required) you have the option of ticking Hunting / Target Shooting in an Authorised Range etc.

If 'hunting' was not ticked in section are you legally allowed to shoot vermin?

My understanding is yes, as Vermin is classed as control, Hunting is of Game.

However to simplify things I ticked all so I could use at all disciplines

    Cheers, thanks for clarifying that.
