    recently picked up a 13.1" Macbook (white) its an older version, maybe 2 years old, i've been trying in vane to pick up a Speck or similar hard shell clip in cover but they dont seem to stock them in the stores anymore, all they have are the new shape ones for the new uni-body macbooks!! :confused:

    so if anyone knows where i could pick one up, or if anyone has one to sell, im interested

    tried before, and they wouldnt ship to ROI, but i've just gone thru the check-out procedure (from the link you posted) and they give a full list of international address', so fingers crossed :)

    still open to alternatives if there are any out there

    hi Jev/N,

    i've seen them alrite, but they are for the new white Unibody macbook, im looking for the older version, non unibody, about 2-3years old,
    the newer version unibody macbook has more rounded edges and overall is a different shape so while most notebook cases and sleeves are still compitable, the clip-on hard shell case wont fit

    Ebay, either from Hong Kong or even some UK sellers... non-branded, but every bit as good as the speck (I have a speck to compare to).

    Mine was $10 + $5 shipping, had it in about 4 days.

    I was gonna a Speck one myself when I got my black macbook but read on some forums that they can scratch if dirt and what not get behind the plastic. Plus the trouble of trying to find some where that had it and would ship to Ireland.

    I end up getting the Moshi Codex from amazon, could get it from the official site as the postage was too expensive to Ireland.
