Has anyone looked into the inital expense in setting up one of these businesses? Also would it be a fixed fee or a floating fee? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the chains would have a franchise pack with all the info.

A new one Hell Pizza is brilliant www.hell.ie - store is on Wexford st in Dublin, but the chain originates from New Zealand where it outsells Pizza Hut.

yep - their website isn't the best - more about style than substance.

imo - it best suits a student town as their marketing and branding is a bit off the wall.

They serve beer & wine in the dublin store. - Franchise is held by Ian Kartland & Bruce Wood who own premier marketing. www.pmgeurope.ie if you want to read about them.

My only interest is I loved their set up in NZ and made initial enquiry into head fanchise here - didn't have the dosh to take it past e-mail stages.

I never took it that far, so wouldn't have a clue. - I did know Ian Kearland years ago when I was in footwear business (he imported Hi Tech, I imported Converse) very decent guy to deal with.

That website looks like a final year project.

I did try their pizza a lot in NZ and its top class but I dont know if their pizza sizes and prices are recession friendly.

With zero brand identity in Ireland I dont know if I'd fork out that kind of franchise fee but on the other hand it could be the best time to get on board
