    just came in from work and there's soot from my chimney all over the floor. i have no idea how it got from being in my chimney to being on the floor, the only explanation i can think of is that big fat fecker Santa has been hiding there.

    No. Not at all like Bono.
    Santa is a great man with many talents, doesn't age & will always surprise his audience.

    Bono on the other hand is an ageing man with a bad back, he will get older & he doesn't surprise anyone anymore. Unless the surprise is to NOT give us a lecture on word poverty while he pays for little bootie heels in his shoes. Fairtrade bootie heels no doubt.

    a bird it is, and it's now locked in the bathroom. the window is open and am hoping the stupid bint flies out now. ceilings and walls are black now with it being covered in soot and trailing it all over the house.

    Get a large towel. Go in to the bathroom, close the door behind you & try to flap the towel in the direction of the window in the hope that the bird will fly out.

    If you have a cat let him/ her in. Dinner sorted for him/ her & bird has been looked after.
