diesel being robbed

Am having my white diesel tank checked to see if i have had a fill so they can pinch some. Don't think they are stealing the tractor diesel. But have found the lid screw off and recently a stick they used to lever the nearly empty tank up to get the last out of it.

Would sugar or milking machine acid/alkaline be best to use as an additive to the tank as i don't use the tank anymore as i know its going to be robbed. And how much additive should i use per 100 litres of fuel. I would perefer to use lead but that would end up with me in jail plus can never find the buggers at it

...I don't think it's the diesel you need to put the lead into.

Telehandler ran out of diesel on us one time in the panic to get it going we grabbed the first five gallon drum that came to hand:rolleyes:. This drum happened to be an empty milking machine acid drum, we rinsed it out with diesel first then filled her up. We got the loader running anyway but not for long as the injector pump was wrecked about three days later. Brought it to be fixed and the mechanic said the seals had melted:eek::eek:. Twas a costly lesson;););)

does sugar or acid not do more harm than just injectors know a farmer that had a good few tractors f**k up with some additive in deisel.

The indians in canada were stealin a neighbour of my uncles diesel. when he was getting it filled after this, he got it filled with petrol instead.:D:D

Hmm, "The Indians" - the whole native population in Canada were queuing up to steal this diesel... or was it Indians from India, who had heard of such a good thing, they all booked a flight to go over and get some of this diesel...

Or was it just some people who just happened to be native American...

Not so good to tar a whole population as theives... plus I imagine there isnt propably that many of em on this Irish Farming blog to stand up for themselves...
