If you go to www.vosa.co.uk and click on recalls. Put in the year/model of your accord and it will give you all the details..

Petrol models? If so, I'll check in the morning.

    Nothing showing up on http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp

Distributor contacts you once the recall is confirmed for Ireland. Assuming you are the registered owner...

    Or here's the Honda page:

    http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/youandyourcar/recallsandupdates/

Plenty of details there, and you also have the option to input your car's VIN number and get exact recalls on that particular car.

I haven't heard of any recalls.
There's a 7 year extended warranty on the 2.2 diesel timing chain, but you need full service history for that (to prove that the proper oil was used).

I just bought an 06 diesel and the dealer told me that they are replacing the timing chains on cars approaching 100K miles (or 4 years) under warranty. It's preventative.

I have a Similar Smell - Diesel on startup, in an 2005 2.2 Diesel. 76,000 miles. Where do I get Hard info on the €500 allowance/cover for this problem.

Ring up your local dealership with your vin number, they should be able to tell you in a few seconds.

    Tks

It's an NI import Do Dealers down here have to honour Recalls?

NI dealer Told me Its covered by Honda Europe so whether its NI or ROI it does not matter.

    Is this true?
