Anyone ever heard of them.
I was bouncing about Amsterdam today, where Magic Mushrooms were banned in 2008, was busting for a pee so dropped into a coffeeshop, and being polite and not wanting to impose I purchased a coffee, whereupon I noticed they were selling these 'Magic Truffles' at the counter. (you gotta love this city)
They're entirely legal here, having a different composition to mushrooms.
A new one on me. I was so surprised I bought a pack, the Atlantis variety, and will get stuck in later.
Anyone tried them, had any experiences on 'em?
Are they legal in Ireland?

Had them when they were legal in Ireland a few years ago.. Didn't get much off them to be honest.

There is a truffle called 'Philosopher's Stone' but there's also a mushie of the same name.

Yeah it's the truffles I've tried.. good question about them being legal here, there's probably some loophole alright

Psilocybin (the active ingredient in mushrooms and truffles) and its esters are scheduled in Ireland so truffles are illegal here.

Truffles are the exact same as magic mushrooms; I think they're legal in the Netharlands as they aren't technically mushrooms and only psilocybe mushrooms are banned.

Never tried them but they are a psilocybin/psilocin fungus so if you know what you are dealing with there you should know what to expect. They're supposedly far easier to grow than shrooms, any teks I've read look pretty easy but they aren't legal here.

I took a few of them one night after coming back from the dam years ago..never again..

I took some a couple of months ago in Amsterdam. It was probably the best night I've ever had. Take a trip down to that carnival if it's still at dam square. If you're with some people, make sure they're not idiots and won't be shouting or anything like that because it'll ****ing wreck the buzz.

They taste manky but make sure to chew them for a while so get the most out of them. once it starts to kick in, it'll feel a bit nauseating, but convince yourself that it'll be great before hand and after taking them and you'll have a great time.

The ones you got were not actually Psilocybe atlantis, but Psilocybe galindoi the mycologist who developed them misidentified them, but the name stuck. I think the mushrooms of that species would be illegal in the netherlands, but not the sclerotia.
