i bought a big one of bushwear a few years age with sausage maker thing it was 290 pounds .

my advice is get a few sound lads together and buy one good one or better still buy it yourself .

as a ole farmer up our way would say after he told you about something he had " we dont lend it "

A buddy of mine got a different model from aldi or lidl 2 yr ago. It broke on him. He recons that you have to be selective of what cuts of meat you put through it i.e. sinu etc, will put it under pressure.
I have an old hand powered one my parents had. Hasn't failed me yet.
Electric would be nice tho. Tell us how you find it.

Anyone got a link to a picture?

I have a hand mincer I got for about 20 quid and it does the job ok.
Bought my mother an electric one in Argos as she likes to mince her own meat and it's its the business. It has sausage attachments and all. However, like any of the non commercial mincers you need to be careful of what you put into it though. If you cut the meat up into pieces before you put it through and don't force the meat into the head it works great. I put the trimmings from a whole side of beef through ti with no problems at all.

I got one from them a few years ago, grand job, great for bunnie and bambie burgers, never tried sausages with it.
I use it about 6-10 times a year

Iv'e got the lidl one, it's ok for lean meat and some fat but you have to clear it as sinew's block it up, just cut the meat into smaller pieces, worth the money you'll get used to what to put into it.
