Best to email the specific dpt. you're interested in. What ones are you looking at?

I've never heard of courses giving out reading lists before the academic year starts, but thats just from my experience anyway.

past exam papers can be good way of finding out what to expect in subjects

but reading lists can change every year for some subjects.

also you could check out the module and degree strucure page

what courses were you looking at?

I do English and Economics through arts.

The English course changes slightly from year to year afaik in terms of what novels/poems you study.

The economics course is pretty much the same though so past exam papers are a huge help there. I'm studying second year papers at the moment. Not a subject you want to fall behind in!

I'd email the lecturers if I were you, Op.:)

My advice: Relax with the aul reading list 'til September, you have plenty of time, but I'm sure the individual lecturer would email it on to you if you contact them.

Mind you one particular sociology lecturer told students to chill out when asking for reading lists in advance on moodle last year... will miss him!!

Thanks guys. I'm not looking for myself, I thought there was a site that might have had them up. No worries though! Cheers for the help!
