I'm planning on coming to maynooth in september and think that i would prefer on campus accomidation.
My boyfriend would be coming down to stay with me about one night every week , would it be easy to sneak him in?! I really dont want to have to live off campus but if it's really hard to sneak him in maybe it'd save the bother!
I want to book a place to stay soon so if anyone could get back to me asap would be great ,thanks!

You'll have no problem whatsoever sneaking him in. Maynooth campus is probably the most open in the country. People just come and go as they like. This does mean you have to be careful and always make sure your door is bedroom locked etc. when you're out as break-ins are on the rise. But yeah, he could live with you all year and you'd get away with it no problem. Pretty cool place. You'll love campus.

I was living on the campus accommodation last year (Rye Hall) and my boyfriend was living in River. At the start of the year we were told that if we had anyone staying with us in the apartment that we had to sign them in. After about two days we realised this was nonsense and we practically lived together for the whole year. A friend of ours from Waterford came and stayed in a tent in the hallway in River for two weeks and nothing was said either, despite an RA seeing the tent! Don't worry about, it's really relaxed!

The single beds are a bit of a pain though but after a while you discover that spooning is the only way to go!
