Hi, anyone got ideas on this? Watched the games at home so far, but looking for a bar to meet up with friend to watch semis, final, etc.

Normally I prefer quieter/older pubs like Grogans, McDaids, Mulligans, Kehoes, Gingerman - but they're not always best for big screens

Nealon's on Capel Street have a big screen and that's kinda old-manish

Slatterys besides Stephens Green shopping centre has a big screen. I remember going into Down Under/Major Toms after a Brazilain match at the last world cup, it was like a Victorias Secret photo shoot.

Any good pubs in town for watching the German - Spain game?
Anything which is a big German or Spanish pub would be best?

    Otherwise, I'm thinking the Porterhouse.....

One time the hot spanish chicks used to go to Hogans. I'd say somewhere in Templebar would draw the overseas crowd.

Yawn......so glad the world cup is over, not cos I don't enjoy sport but Im sick of all this sexist crap. Jeez women are more than eye candy you know,we're actually really good at sports and soccer too!

If I wanna watch a game Id prob head to Nealons on Capel street, good few tv screens, nice crowd and not too loud so you can hear commentary.
