Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The proposed legislation is due before the Dáil again tomorrow. It is the first of two animal welfare reforms, with new laws to regulate dog breeding, due in the Dáil on Friday

    About time! :)

    Looks like the Greens will give in & allow FF backbenchers & FG to oppose aspects of the Bill. It is incredulous that politicians want to oppose a Bill to regulate dog breeding & puppy farming - only in Ireland !.

    Thanks for that, I looked at some of the debates about it.... which included breeding bitches at 4 months old!?!

    Oh dear, these are the people running our country :( betcha they all own greyhounds! I've sent off emails and fingers crossed that this will go through....

    Breeding at 4 months old dog is like forcing an 8 year human old girl to get pregnant. Its totally disgusting and wrong. A dog shouldnt be bread before its two years old at least.
