any one insured with these guys .

really feel like they are a sham,i can get a quick qoute but not a full qoute ,
the quick qoute is cheap but then when you add in the needed extras it just adds up to the same as what i have now so whats the point ,morenonsense.ie more like

ya - i was with some other mob who i cant remember and left cos they were so rude about a renewal, 123 have been good and nice punters on the phone. Good example of where good old fashioned manners won the day for me!!!

the girlfrend just did a quote there online worked out dearer than the one she has now ,when shed finished

whoever she is going with then haggle! If the punter on the end of the phone says they cant then ask them politely to talk to their supervisor. Oft works.

I looked for a quote from them last year but they wouldn’t quote me as my car was 10 years old! I called again just last week as my insurance was due again, this time trying to insure a 06 Peugeot 407 2.0 diesel but again they wouldn’t quote me! I was told that they didn’t underwrite that vehicle!! The car has been in no way modified since she left the factory!! I wasn’t even bothered arguing with them! I really think they need to rethink their name; should be “nonsense.ie”….good ads though…

ha ha - i am setting up a company tmrw called nonsense.ie where people call up and my staff just respond with gibberish. "how much to insure a 08 Volvo 2 litre?" "Ehh well sir i think it was Colnel Gadaffi in 1987"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 805 ✭✭✭metzengerstein

theres the mail i sent back to them.he told me to go to fbd

grand so it pretty much is ,nonsense.ie
dont mean to be rude ,but any other insurer will insure my car with a great qoute the age of the car doesnt make any odds ,and why should it ,
the car is safe and in good working order and has an nct cert to say so .if it was a classic id go for classic insurance but its not so the year shouldnt matter .

fbd are more expensive then who im with so thats no use to me .
