    Folks,

If I was to buy the ipad up north with Wifi & 3g option, could I bring it down south and get a sim from o2 to work in it?

Yes, a MicroSIM. I got mine in Belfast, and use it in Dublin with a Vodafone MicroSIM.

    Yes, I did exactly that.

Take your ipad in store and get them to sort it out, when I got mine, they still needed to activate the sim via text messages, which obviously you can't recieve on an ipad, and being a microsim, you can get the code by putting it into another phone without an adapter.

Do O2 do the microsim as this would be for a company?
