disregarding the fact that we're in some of the best weather in eleventy-seven years, I'm looking for advice from the ladies of boards on what makes for good winter underwear! The GF is in Adelaide, and she never quits complaining about the cold. I've tried to tell her to get some wooly underpants :pac: but it never gets through. Is there anything warm, possibly even (remotly!) titillating, to be worn beneath work clothes that can be got in Dublin at the moment? What do you girls do during winter here?

    Thanks,

    A

Silk underwear is a very good insulator. Edmund Hillary climbed Everest wearing just silks and tweeds. The bloomers might be a bit tongue in cheek but you can get very pretty camisole and knicker combos.

What you want is thermal underwear. Will be hard to find at this time of year but you should be able to find it online.
