Physics is handy enough tbh, very crammable too. You dont have to be particularly good at maths either, you just have to be VERY comfortable with algebra and manipulation of formula.

Applied Maths is one of those that you either get or dont, if you're good at maths/or are particularly good at kinda mechanical reasoning, you'll do well.

I can only speak for Biology and Chemistry. Both are very very different from Junior Cert. level. You've loads of time to worry about this. Grab a student from any subject your not sure about (a decent student!) and a book and talk to them about the subject. Or grab a book and talk to people on here.

Biology is really different and if you don't like it it's hard. There's a lot of material to learn off by heart. Chemistry has a little maths in it and the rest is theory. They're both different subjects really... I think if you're good at Geography/History subjects and learning info off and find Biology even remotely interesting it's really easy. People find Chemistry boring at times and it isn't popular with people who don't like Science. Looking at the books I think you'll get it yourself.

I only decided to do Chem for definite at the end of 4th Year... you've so much time to decide about everything. And if you're not certain you'd like to go into Science maybe consider a Business subject? If you're good at Science go for it for points but don't do all subjects otherwise (obviously) you need to like a subject...

Have a great year, make the most of it!
