He can't really be celebrating his birthday if he's dead, can he?

Well he was born 78 years ago... Didn't say he has been alive in the interim. Sure who amongst us haven't been a little bit dead from time to time.

    He died in 2005. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Morita

    Am I missing something?

If you want to get anal about it then, technically it's none of their birthdays - you only have one birthday - the day you were born. Everything else is an anniversary of your birthday - so naaa naaa na na naaaa.

Yeah, and who do you think had to go around and take her to rehab when that failed? Muggins here.

Ah well it's good that she's got things back on track. Maybe I'll bake her a cake too.

As already pointed out, not living does not exclude people from birthday shout outs in the metro, so he could well be

perhaps the Metro journalists who comb AH for tomorrow's stories could confirm to us that Jane is indeed alive and celebrating her birthday?

Photographic evidence should be supplied too. I don't want them fobbing us off.

Bowler ideally but we're not picky so the Metro can choose.

I believe that this may all have been a clever marketing ploy by the Metro.

I realised this morning that I never knew a Jane O'Dea at all. I was thinking of Amy Winehouse the whole time.

    I know, weird.

And I've never taken her to rehab.

I tried to but she said "No, no, no!"

funny, I thought same when I read about Pat Morita's birthday! They did the same a couple of months ago with Tammy Wynette (giving what her age would be now if she had lived - she died in 1998). Does that mean they'll be publishing Princess Diana's 50th birthday soon or Oliver Cromwell's 500th?
