    lt would be nice to see dodder without all those empty beer cans , shopping trolleys, bags etc. but this will not change overnight.
    Anyway this evening l will be there;)

    It's terrible, it just shows how much rubbish is in there when the water is clear. there was a terrible smell of sewerage there yesterday too.

    You will have a chance to do something about the rubbish in the Dodder. There is a clean up happening this Wed. 30th June meeting at the Dropping Well at 7pm. Please come along to help out.

    there was a good nights work done on the wednesday(30thjul) clean up. there will be another clean up on Monday 5th July on Dodder meeting at Orwell bridge @19.00hrs (weather permitting) I would suggest that any of you new to fishing the Dodder (especially fly fishing) come along as some of the lads on the clean ups are experienced fly anglers with years,decades even,of fishing the river. Most hang around for a chat after (refreshments provided) and are more then willing the give advice to learners, it is a good opportunity as it is one of the few times you will meet them all together.
