New Galtee Ad

Does anyone know where this was shot(the one with the rasher run, like the bull run in Pamplona and the pack of hounds ?)I know Galtee no longer sell Irish bacon exclusively, but the village looks Irish.

Its way better than any of the bulmers ads!!! although some of the ''embrace the pear ones were quite good.

It was shot in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, and I was in it as an extra.

I'm in the ad six times, all of which are nearly impossible to spot.

I'm the guy who falls down running up the hill, for example.

Damn beat me to it. Rathdrum is a hotspot for ads. Check out the RiverRock advert too.

Did you know that rashers doesn't come out well on screen so in fact they use thin slices of a special type of unleavened bread instead?

The ad doesn't translate to radio very well.

Actually, they used card printed with really high-quality photos, laminated on both sides, and sprayed to avoid shininess.

For the "main character"'s costume, they actually had a guy mold and paint rashers out of some sort of polymer. They were so realistic it took us a while to decide whether they were real or not. When standing next to him.
