Tell us five random facts about you that we won't find elsewhere on Boards :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 22,905 ✭✭✭✭Handsome Bob

What pisses you off about society Zwill?

The world is ending, picking your team of five to save it (fictional or non-fictional, tis all good).

Favourite horror film of the 90s? And the 00's?

What fictional being would you say you've invested the most money in? I'm talking stuff like books, toys, comics, movies etc etc...

Did ya enjoy the Zombie walk? Any interesting stories? :P

Not sure how random these might be, but I’m pretty certain they’re not on boards :p
    1. My blood type is O RhD Positive!!!
    2. I have a belief in soul mates, but like the body, the soul is made up of many parts, so there’s many soul mates out there to have and hold
    3. The last time I was at the opticians, I was told that my right eye had become less weak and was able to see more than it has in years. Also that one of my eyes is football shaped, while the other is rugby ball shaped.
    4. I have a thing for hands...
    5. My pyjamas have Spongebob Squarepants on them :p:):o:cool:

Since I threw myself into the Noclight spot I’ve been pondering LZ’s society one. I’ve decided that I don’t like how society presents itself from racism to littering., war to famine, irritating noises to pointless contraptions... Without getting too nitty gritty, I suppose people are the most irritating thing about society! They’re everywhere and alot of them are out there just to be asshats

Hmmm, how is the world ending exactly?? :D

I suppose Superman would be a good bet, but just in case he gets a bit big headed for being all super powerful (not likely, but still) I’ll toss Jesus Christ into the mix.
Since Jesus maybe a little out of it most of the time (blood = wine lark :pac: ) I think Stephen Hawking should be there as the brains of the operation.

The Powerpuff Girls for Sugar and Spice and everything Nice and I shall top of the world being saved with Buffy :D
She saved us from the Hellmouth, she can do it again ;)

Not possible for me to pick just one film ever >.< I'm terribly indecisive!!

Favourite horror film(s) of the 90’s = From Dusk Til Dawn (I know, it’s debatable as horror, but it’s still has vampires), The Blair Witch Project(It was the only film that actually really got under my skin), Scream and Ringu
Favourite horror film(s) of the 00’s = The Bare Wench Project 2: Scared Topless :P
I kid, of course, hmmm... I’m gonna say Ichi the Killer, A Tale of Two Sisters, The Ring
(Mostly cause the well scene with her crawling out gives me the heebies still)
    The Hills Have Eyes
(It was actually a pretty boring film, but I felt physically sick at the rape part >.<)
30 Days of Night was a decent vampire flick, The Mist, REC, Teeth

I actually had a look in the DVD cabinet, then my book shelf and CD rack... I’ve come to the added conclusion that I’ve spent most money on the Harry Potter collection :o She did write a few books on the guy, few films have been made and I’ve a small Lego version of him upon my book shelf. I think coming in second is Darren Shan.

I loved the Zombie Walk, was great fun :D Myself and my friend decided to go into town, but didn’t know exactly what to do, it was either go to the Pride, go see some Zombies, watch the Anonymous Pirates or feel all Socialist party wise.... There were so many different sorts out and about that day! Any interesting stories from that day... I went to the After Party and saw a girl I went to school with, we were quite close before she went into Transition Year and I never really seen her again. So when I realised it was her and spoke to her, there was plenty of squeals, OMGs and hugs going around :)

I was sick to death of Food related larking about with bunsen burners and I wanted to get my foot stuck into the medical world. I was always interested in the body and how it defends itself, so it seemed to fit :D

Then swine flu became the big thing

At the next lightning storm, Dr Zwillenstein nearly has it perfected.... but soon it shall be ALIVE!! :D
    What's a zwillinge anyway?

It's a German word :P It means Gemini and twin. And since I'm a Gemini and liked the German language I went with it... Also who doesn't enjoy the letter Z?? It makes things that tad more cool

It's a strange one, but I LOVE Grafton Street at 9 - 10 am on a sunny morning. It's still empty and the street actually looks quite pretty. Then at 11 - 12 it gets packed and I wanna scram :P

I enjoy a nice white wine. Red goes against my skin and legs :confused:

Hmmm, one that just struck me!

I've often heard it argued (usually by teh grannies, it has to be said) that over-protectiveness of kids in terms of cleanliness etc. (constantly washing their hands, not letting them play in the mud, you name it) actually results in their immune systems being less developed and more susceptible.

    Your opinions, please?

It's actually quite true :D (Those grannies know a thing or two)

Since they haven't been exposed to mud, germs and little evil bacteria bugs, their immune system hasn't had a chance to take the bacteria and learnt how to deal with it. So whenever a bad bug gets in, their immune goes on red alert and doesn't know what to be doing! And fails miserably -.- Resulting in coughs, colds and nasty infections.

It's something that happens to my cousins alot who grew up in a sterile house. Close to being boys in bubbles!!

Watch Bubble Boy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0258470/ It gives a good idea of it ;) Plus it's a fun film!! :D!!

    Giant robots.

    Do chicks dig them?

If I say the word "twilight" what do you think of?

    Cats or dogs?

    Cats or dogs?

Why Yes chicks do dig Giant Robots!!

I think of two somewhat attractive individuals, yet the girl is so pouty and wooden that she doesn't seem as attractive and the male is covered in glitter, which lessens that attraction.
I also think of terribly written books!!
And a time of day :D There's lots going with the word Twilight!

Hmmm, both! I want one of each when I have my own place. I want a dachshund *cuteness squeal* and a kitty that can be recorded for Youtube purposes >.> In a loving way of course <3

What's the best gig you've ever been to?

Most bizarre thing you've come across during 1) your time on this planet and 2) whilst studying what appears to all of us here to be a very interesting topic :)

If you watched cartoons as a kid, did you most identify with the good guys or the bad guys and is that still the same?

If you could change something about the human body (i.e. decide an evolutionary step) what would it be and why?

What colour would your light sabre be?

Best gig... Download Festival, Metallica played the entire Master of Puppets album from start to finish. My favourite album live <3 Can't beat that really!

Most bizarre thing upon this planet be people! They're so varying, strange and have their own thought and ideas. soem strange and bizarre in a fantastically nice way while others strange and bizarre in hurtful, nonsensical ways.
Most bizarre thing through study is actually one I can't talk about it, but the second bizarre thing I found was that me and gels don't get on. A generally easy thing to do, but somehow never wants to work for me!

Cartoons as a kid involved Doug, Hey Arnold and Rugrats. Basically Nickelodeon to the max :D I suppose I identified with Doug (good) Helga (bad) and Chucky (good) So I guess a nice mixture of good and bad there :) Nowadays I still feel I can relate to Helga... Good or bad, you pick :P

Human body.... I think it would be fantastic if we didn't need to sleep as much. I personally find it a nuisance for getting stuff done.

I'd have a purple one!! A) It's my favourite colour and B) Mace Windu is slick ;)

I was looking for information on a dance class I wanted to attend and posted a question about it. I didn't get too much of a repsonse though :(

I was just looking at the different boards on boards and was intrigued by the idea of Nocturnal. Having a bit of a lurk and a feelf or what the nocs were interested in and how they interacted with one another, it seemed quite nice and relaxed.
