I'm getting hold of a first gen iPhone shortly, I'm currently on a monthly O2 Clear thingy which has a 30 day get out clause. What is the best option for getting the iphone working for me? I don't make many calls (about 10 a month) and maybe about 50 or so texts so I think I mainly will need data.

Can I just put my current sim into the iphone? Is there a better option cash/connection wise than that?

I travel to UK a fair bit, I figure I'll get a sim there too and swap out when I'm travelling.
