Replacement DOE Cert ?

I bought my van 2 months ago and the tax is up on it now, the previous owner cant find the DOE cert for it and I want to know can i get a replacement (it has 3 months DOE left on it and I know it wont pass if it has to go through it again)

If he knows the centre where it was tested they should give him a new one. Motor tax office either should do it for 13 euro.

Doe centres can/should only give a copy of the cert within one month of the test
