    Hi there,
Just wondering can anyone recommend a class room based repeat Honours Irish Leaving Certificate course in the evenings? I work full time and would like to go back to do Honours Irish to keep my options open for Primary School Teacher.

I know the Institute of Education do a part time course, but its like 1,500 euro which is a bit steep for me. If you had any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. I live in Dublin 6.

    Thanks

As an Irish teacher, I think you would be much better doing one to one grinds with a qualified Irish teacher who is teaching the course. They can be arranged at a time that suits you and you will get a lot more from one to one.:)

I've run classes and private grinds and would completely agree with Gaeilgebeo. One-on-one tends to suit people out of school for a few years better. I think it's a comfort zone thing but I could be wrong. In the long run it has usually worked out significantly cheaper to in my experience. Make sure your teacher is qualified and presently teaching though, otherwise they may not know about changes in the course etc. A recent assistant examiner and oral examiner is also a plus. Best of luck!

Do you know anyone doing grinds in the Drumcondra area?
