    i need an nct cert number, the spaces to fill this in on the RF100A from is for cert of roadworthiness and is for 10 digits.. i have an nct cert, at the top it has 12 digits.. is this the correct number to fill in?

    cert of roadworthiness is for commercials et al....not nct

    You don't need a current NCT cert to tax a car, even though the form asks for the information - just leave it blank.
