I'm not sure if this belongs here but i stumbled across it tonight. It is the story of a surviving British war veteran from World War 2. He details his story from England to Sword beach to Bremen and home. It is a fascinating read and interesting (imho) to get an inside look at what went on that the history books will never tell. His style of writing makes it an enjoyable read also.
