had a quick look at home yesterday as I'm heading up in a few days prior to seeing this thread,

handy to have the scorecard,

looks nice in flyover mode,give a lovely quick idea of the holes shape

........ but its not very helpful without the distances marked in the other mode,

I'd have to say a strokesaver looks to be a better option at present,or maybe I'm missing something,
as I say I only had a quick look as I had a small kid swinging out of me,I will look more later tonight hopefully

A fair point about the distances, if we add in the distances like a yardage book it would have more than likey be a pay for app, as they sell yadage books out of the shop.

I suppose the app is mainly aimed at golf tourists and is designed as a companion tool, to help give a feel for the course and the facilities and with help getting there.

I can talk to the owners and ask if they want to have a second version aimed at the pure golfer and include yardage guides in the video and hole preview.

This is our first of what hope will be many, we are a very young company still finding our feet and will always try to provide products that golfers actualy want, so any feed back will always be listened to.

Roganstown's app will be released in a week or so and that one has yardage included.


The intention is to have an android version at some stage

Updated version 1.1 was uploaded to the app store on Sunday so should be available in the next few days.

Some minor bug fixes and now has the Carton House yardage book included free of charge.

Week too late for me but should be back there in the next few weeks

Any other courses in the pipeline ?
