Serious yoke, I use it in conjunction with a deben battery pack.

And of course a Nightforce scope :D

Will clearly see a rabbit/fox at 200 yards or so

Best lamp on the go. Buy it. Get a dimmer switch also. Killed many foxes with mine.

I got the lightforce 240 off ebay for handy money, very powerful lamp it lights up farther than you will ever need!

I just had to go one bigger than everyone else!:D:D

Although for scope mounted it would be way too big I always lamp with someone holding the lamp for me ;)

Both, I dim the lamp until it's almost out. I sneak up on the fox, crank the amps up and yell BOO!

    Drops on the spot.

i have the 140 myself... i think its a little tidy'r than the 170 on the scope.... my advice is pay the money for the new battery pack... i upgraded my old lead batteries... for one of those new lithium jobbies...... quarter the weight.... and it last longer two.... best few dollars i spent...:):)

If theres one thing that i dont like about the 170 it would have to be its size.(oh and the wiring;))
Should have went a torch smaller:D Its would be lighter and probably still more power than i could Handel

Have the 140 scope mounted myself too. Does me the finest to be honest. Gets me out to 160-180yds for shots no probs. You can scan out to a decent 350 yds on a good dark night ;) A good clarity scope is the key most the time. Anyway back on topic..get the LF. You wont regret it. Happy hunting :)

Very good Tac but what you didn't say is that video shows it's off of the vehicle mounted lamps.

Vehicle mounted lamps have Lightforce written on them, hunting ones don.... Shouldn't.

Well spotted Clive, I am a rough man and my lamp was in the back of the wagon for months being bumped around and it still works.
    It is a serious lamp.

However i may get them new battery types as I have the older type dry sell batteries which are very heavy.

its on my to-do list, along with so many other things at the moment
