This is another tough one to call, really looking forward to it, USA must be on a serious high after their late goal against Algeria, Ghana are a very sticky team and I don't see too many goals in this one.

I've already done a double of Uruguay/Uruguay and Draw/USA so my bets will be USA/USA Ghana/Draw Draw/Ghana and Ghana/USA. I've figured if I lay out 25 euro on these bets I cannot possibly lose any money :) sounds good.

I reckon Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan will be the most dangerous men on the pitch with Asamoah Gyan a deadly striker for Ghana, predicting 1-0 USA but hoping for 3-2 :)

Edit: Actually I can lose money with those bets, lets just hope I dont.

I definitely fancy Draw/USA though at 9/2 on PP

Bradley to score any time @10.5 is tempting.

Loves to get forward from the middle of the park.

    • USA to win the match
      9 or less corners
      Card Index:Up to and including 45 points @ 10/1
      Live Trebles
      USA v Ghana

*have 0.50c(yes 0.50c, was the last bit on my account) double with the same live treble for Uruguay = 33 euro
      USA @ 8/5 Win-Draw-Win USA v Ghana

    * have 5.00 euro double with the same win for Uruguay(evens) = 26.00

Will make another bet or two before KO :)

Going to be an epic game hopefully :D

America DNB looks good but Ghana will give it a real go and will have a lot of support behind them.

I think America can do it :)

    2 euro on Donavon 2 or more @ 20/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,592 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

I've gone for Ghana win @ 3.35 on Betfair. They're a tough side to beat and if they could just start sticking them away they'd be flying.

    Draw H/T Ghana F/T @ 5's for me.

Edit: Also threw a speculative 3 quid on Kevin Prince Boateng & 1-0 Ghana @ 55/1.

Iv backed both teams to win on penalties as i reckon this will be tight , however i do think there will be goals in the game .
The USA defense isnt the best and i can see them conceding, on the other hand they are pretty decent going forward so i do think they will score.

    Iv gone for :

Usa to win on pens @ 17/2
Ghana to win on pens @ 17/2
    Landon Donovan 1st scorer @ 7/1
    Usa to win 2-1 @ 9/1

    In a peno shootout..

Bradley, Donavon and Dempsey, Beasley are dead certs. Altidore, you'd expect as well.

I'm fairly sure I've seen/heard Spector take a penalty, I could be thinking of someone else though.

Had a quick look around but couldn't find anything. I reckon it's Donovan or at a push Dempsey.

edit - just googled Donovan penalty and he features a lot from the penalty spot. Make of that what you will.

na **** it, ill leave that Donovan bet

whats the betting he'll score now

I think it will be very close.

Still can't decide on a winner - all points to a draw.

5/2 for a Ghana win seems pretty big tbh

I fancy Ghana 2-1 here - I think the US will find it hard to break them down, they're a touch, physical team imo. The US being a bit dodgy at the back will compensate for Ghana's lacklustre goal tally so far I reckon. Gyan 1st scorer and Ghana to win 2-1 @ 40/1 for me :)

    A.Gyan to score anytime @ 3.7

    Bothteams to score @ 2.22

    Donavan 1st scorer @ 8.6

Ghana draw no bet @ 2.34

Ghana to win both halves @ 13.0

€30 worth of bets in total.

    Good luck all.

The US have started slow in all the games I've seen of them(missed most of the Algeria game) so far.

I'll give them till 60 minutes to produce something before getting worried.

Cut out your snob attitude(something which is present in a few of the regulars on here. There was no harm in asking a question was there, really did I harm you in anyway whatsoever? Was I not on topic? Is this the betting forum? Are genuine questions not allowed to be asked?

Oh and I'm not being funny neither dan the man

Maybe you should learn how to construct a sentence before you have a go at someone in this forum. You never know what kind of specials may be available which pays out on goals scored in extra time (admittedly few if any, but beside the point).

People shouldn't be afraid to ask a seemingly stupid question in fear of being ridiculed or lambasted by other posters.

    Get a grip.
