Clubs in Edinburgh (dresscode)

    I'm flying off to Edinburgh with friends for the next few days. Leaving in about two hours but a question suddenly hit me.

    For nightclubs there what is the dresscode like? Are they strict? I'm bringing a pair of shoes anyway so I'm not stuck with runners but was wondering do they let you in with jeans or not? Has anyone been there recently enough and can answer this?


    Also, I leave in 2 hours from the original post so any quick advice would be helpful :P

    you will get in everywhere with jeans and most places with runners yes, wear the shoes just in case though

    You were completely right. But the first night out it didn't occur to me that age cards wouldn't be accepted. Had to run and grab the passport. Was a great few days.
