well folks, i was previously part of a lease taken on a bar i wasnt in the business part i was just related to person who was.

i am seriously lookin into setting up my own bar but i have no idea how to even go about it.

would it be better to either buy a building and start from scratch, or ust try and get a lease on a current pub when ever 1 comes available???

any info would be great cheers

Assuming the lease includes the license, its prob a better option and save like a biatch till you have enough cash to build your own.

I'd also advise working in one for a while and keeping your eye's open, there will be a lot of things to learn that you might not have thought of.

+1, even if you have to work for free as the managers assistant for a month it'll well worth it.

Myself I think its an often unrewarding profession both financially and personally.
