    Hi,

Anyone ever buy from the UK Apple refurb store?

Debating on getting the old Mac Book Pro model for £1,099 rather than buying the newest version?

Do you live in the UK?

Anyway, the refurb store is great. You get a full warranty and can get Applecare if you wish. The machine is usually as good as new and has probably undergone more testing than a new machine. There might be a few scuff marks at the worst. If you are not happy just send it back. But people generally report having a very positive experience with Apple refurbs.

I would always try buy from the refurb store if the product I'm looking for is available there at the time. 2 MacBooks, 1 apple tv and a few iPods so far. Never had any trouble with them and they come with full warranty as already said.....

    Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, I'm living in the UK at the moment. My only worry is that I'd be buying an older Mac Book Pro model which doesn't have the new range of pentium processors.

But at the same time I'd be saving £400. Good to hear that of both you have never had problems with anything bought there.
