Just catching up on things around here after my 3 week enforced hiatus (exam / hols). I really enjoyed this interview on the Raheny Shamrocks site with Dick Hooper, gives a bit of an insight into his training and mentality back in the 70s / 80s. Linky here

Espn classic did a great piece on the Moscow Olympics and had a feature about the Hoopers, they had someone voice their inner monologue for the race, must see if i can find it
