Hi just wondering if ottawa is a good place to study in canada

Hi! As a Canadian I can tell you that Ottawa is not a bad city. Carleton University no longer has a great reputation though. Also, there are certainly better universities in Canada and cities which are much more fun to live in while going to school. Some people say Ottawa is boring because it's a government city - that's where parliament sits and there's really not much cultural atmosphere there, but it is clean and safe.

thanks for your reply. Carleton University was actually a college I was looking at. I'm interesed in the criminology and criminal justice degree.I thought it looked quite good but I suppose it's hard to tell without actually going there. Ya I don't know muchabout the best places in Canada.Toronto and Montreal seem to be places where there's a lot going on.
