porcelain veneers?? getting teeth done

haha but im very conscious of my teeth and always think twice when i smile.and my teeth are not the best and the whitest and thats anothe thing i have a real big problem with. i want to go get my teeth done iv been saving up and i was just wondering has anybody on here got there teeth done professionally and has anyone payyed to get their teeth done ?? iv been looking at some dental studios in dublin and the result pictures of their patients and it looks brilliant and its what i want . . and iwant to be able to smile heheh how corney

i dont know weather this is in the right section but if its not could it be moved to the right one so i know

if people can share their experiences that would be kool

I was considering getting veneers a couple of years ago. There is a cosmetic dentist in the <snip> who specialises in this practise, I think he may also lecture in Trinity but don't hold me to that! <snip>

Anyway, I went to talk to him about this option and he did 'mock up' veneers for my front teeth so I would have an idea what they looked/felt like. Surprisingly I did not like them as the upper veneers pushed my top lip out slightly and I didn't like the look or feel of it. But that was just my experience. I would say the mock up was a great idea and really made up my mind for me.

It sounds like you are only interested in veneers but for me I gave into the orthodontic option to rectify a side tooth that stuck out a little bit and have been really pleased with the outcome. That took about 2 years with <snip> in Blachardstown who is highly regarded and really nice.

Alot of people go abroad for veneers too as it cheaper. Might be another option for you.
