i was just wondering if anyone knows if there is any means of gaining entry to veterinary medicine if you dont get the points apart from the graduate root.. i heard some people say that they did a year in a course and then transferred to medicine, those this work for veterinary?

Not that I know of. If you had the points requirement and wanted to change courses you can change within the university, but as far as I know unless you have the required points to get in you wouldn't be able to transfer.
