    its a Factory unlocked iPhone 3GS 32GB.

currently going through a restore and sync from the back up of my iPod Touch.

when i transfer my contacts over from my Sim, and then as i add further contacts to the phone manually, is there a location that these contacts are backed up to?
ie. when i sync, is there a contacts folder?

    thanks.

    Hi

Not sure if this is going to help at all but when using sync in iTunes, using the "info" tab on your iPhone you can choose to sync contact with other software on your Mac/PC.

On mine it gives me four options, Outlook, windows address book, Google contacts and Yahoo! address book.

So essentially all contacts are saved to whatever destination or address book you choose.

If using a PC the actual file, when using Outlook for example is stored in your \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook - as a *.pst file which can be export as a *.csv should you ever need to back it up or move it to storage.
