    Help needed.

See Drawing, is there a piece i can get ( to insert dishwasher hose in) to replace pieces "B" and "C" so that i don't have to use outlet "Z" anymore as that is the smelly one?? I don't want to touch parts "A" and "D" as they are fixed.

You can get a trap for the dishwaher waste, ask in local suppliers its basically a S trap and length of pipe you can cut to suit . They come in a pack together for exactly this siuation.
    Thats the easiest solution

There is actually another way its called an applience trap it connects onto your current S trap(replacing pipe B and C) but it makes pipe w redundant so this will have to be blanked off. with an 1.1/2" spiggot.

Personnaly this is the way I would go as the flow from the sink combined with the flow from the washing machine really keeps this smell free.

Replace the s bend with this: waa4.gif

You can get them in most hardware shops, B&Q, Woodies, Homebase etc. The plastic unit is easy to remove by hand. Use a damp rag for grip and comfort.

As suggested blank off that pipe.
