Server now running 1.07, chernarus rapsody default mission till JW updates the Duala mission. I set the password (rosebowl) so people with Ace don't crash the mission

BTW KD, You didn't do the beta right, half right, You were running the beta mod folder alright but You didn't copy and replace the server.exe with the beta one so there would've been crashes. Not possible with Yoma, its why I used the shortcut & parameters

Anyone joining chernarus rapsody needs to delete 2 .pbo's in the pcformat_required mod folder or it will crash the server, flares crash the server with 1.07

This is becoming laughable. Since I installed th patch, the game has been running worse if anything. It just refuses to run smoothly. I'm sure I could do spend hours doing workarounds, using different apps, ramdisk, alter the files to use different amounts of memory... Why should a customer who paid their hard earned money have to do all that to get the most out of it?

Must be Your pc, me and everyone else have been commenting on the huge performance increase. With 1.07 I'm no longer using a ramdisk, the game uses all four cores on my pc and uses much more memory than it did before. Another thing we noticed, running Arma2 Chernarus missions on Arrowhead gives even more performance and better lighting and textures, we commented on this when playing on Tuesday night. Maybe Your pc needs a graphics driver update, cleanup and defrag, or maybe a reinstall (i do this every 6 months to keep performance up), gaming pc's need this as the performance of any game drops over time if You don't keep Your pc in tip-top shape, if You're not upto this buy a console

Arma OA hasn't yet got the multicore and larger memory address optimisations that Arma2 got in 1.07 (its somewhere around the performance of 1.05), they'll follow shortly, but it does run pretty sweet with the lack of vegitation. I'm also noticing that menus open quicker and animations are alot smoother

Hopefully by the time I get OA (when money falls from the sky) there will be a patch
