I used Boyce Solicitors in Limerick, they really helpful and friendly, not sure what part of the country you are in, but i think for property you don't need to live near the solicitor, they can usually just do work for you, i only had to meet with mine once, over the property problem i had.

I know that it may seem to you op that this is a very complicated case necessitating a specialist property lawyer. The reality i would be astounded if virtually any general practice solicitor couldn't handle this matter

Any general practice could deal with your property query.

There are a small number of practices usually in larger centres who specialise in certain area i.e. criminal defence, liability defence, but the majority of offices deal with property issues.

If you do need a specialist - Anne Stephenson. A living legend in legal circles.

She is a good colleague and spends most of her time lecturing apprentices in probate and wills. I think she does have some sort of a practise, when she isn't lecturing, and as far as I know she is either a sole practitioner or maybe has an assistant solicitor, hardly "living legend" stuff but if you had a very complex Will that needed drafting, I'm sure she wouldn't be found wanting.. Joint ownership stuff might seem complicated to the punter but is bread and butter to any solicitor.

    Many thanks folks...

Not being from these parts I don't know what solicitor I should be contacting... any other recommendations in Dublin City Centre would be appreciated.

    William Crean.

The last Conveyancing Act changed provisions regarding joint ownership.
