Im having some problems with my m60.The mag seems to be stuttering when its feeding so when im firing the gun fires and then miss fires.Iv connected the battery and emptied a full bag of bbs back in to the bag and its doing it on auto and continuum .Iv never worked on a box mag so i have nothing to compare from.

Are you sure that the problem is the box max
As you say that you have emptied the mag back into the bag without any problem then the problem may be elsewhere, could it be the AEG itself
Having said the when you empty the mag on it own into the bag there is no resistence against the flow of BB as is normal when connected to the M60
I wonder can you fit an M4/M16 mag as you can to a M249 just to test and eleminate the box mag from the equation and if the problem persists than your problem is the AEG and if it goes away then then fault is in the box mag
At least the above sugestion should at least confirm exactly which part is at fault
If your fault is in the AEG then it is probally hop-up/air nozzle relaited, if mag relaited then that is another discussion

sorry for the confusion.it is doing it when its not connected to the gun.i took it apart and the fly wheel spins and then seems to get stuck for just half a second.this would be consistence with the way the bbs are feeding.they feed and then for just that tiny bit they dont so when your firing the mag cant keep up with the rate of fire even when i have it turned to its slowest.

I had reason to go into a C-mag a few days ago which would stop and start every now and then
Traced the problem down to the motor/gear train, there was some minor misalignment due to a slight flex in the wall of the C-mag where the motor gear train was screwed to
So I loosened the 3 screws the held to motor assembly to the C-mag wall about 1/2 a turn or so and that allowed the motor assembly enough freedom to float every so slightly and it allowed it to turn without any additional side strain on the moving parts
I wonder if your problem could be something like that, it may be worth a try

check the power connector feeding the box mag hasn't worked itself loose. That happened with my box mag in Sweden. Granted I'm using a completely different setup to you but the principle still stands. Simply pushing the wiring back into the tamiya connector did the job

i just took the whole mag apart there and the motor seems to be running fine.but when i reconnect it to the actual winding mech it staring catching and slipping.I rewired the connect there as well so it wasn't that.Ill take apart the winding mech and see if anythings wrong in there.

ok i found the root of the problem.Dont ask me how this came about because i have never went near the mag until now.I took apart the winder mech and everything seemed fine so i put it back together but i forgot 1 of the screws and when i reconnected it to the motor it worked perfectly again. So i put back in the screw i forgot and it stopped working. So my conclusion is the casing on the winder mech was to tight so i left out the last screw and put it all back together but now the bottom plate on the mag casing is putting pressure on the winding casing which is stopping it from working properly again.

Thank you very much!! i duno, i think theres 2 many kinks in the feeding spring and they wont flow thru proparly.its very annoying cause its a fairly simple looking mag. just need new parts for it i think.. im bringing it down to HRTA 2moro and hopefully some1 from seairsoft shop will know what to do straight away.
