    Skype is the one I'm waiting for..pretty pointless if it can't run in the background.

    So far I've got:
    -Facebook
    -Real Racing

    Facebook was updated before the release of iOS4, and windows live messenger was released during the iOS4 hype and they haven't made it using the new API :confused:

    That's the second link posted which hasn't got complete data.

    I only have 44 apps and only 2 of them mulitask and only one is listed on that page.

    Better off just posting them here IMO.

    and pretty much all apps that don't need multitasking need hi-res icons, they really stand out against the updated ones.

    Can someone explain how to activate multitasking..I though I knew but it isn't working...

    I downloaded Truphone, as it has a skype client and states it's updated to include multitasking.

    I open the app, log into skype..I can receive calls etc, then I double click the home button, and exit.

    Can't receive anything then, and if I doubl click the home button and click on the app again, it opens up, and if I missed any IM'S etc they only start to come through then...

    any ideas?

    sorted now..works fine, can only receive calls (no im) while it's running in the background.

    One slightly annoying thing though...in Skype(on desktop), while truphone is running in the background(on iphone 4) , it says 'away' next to my name, and the little skype logo is yellow, instead of the usual green...so some people may not bother calling me, thinking I'm away, when I am in fact available to take a skype call..
