Right, going to be a football weekend instead of horses, but will put down 2 singles and a double for these two.

Thinking 2 for each at the moment, a win and an each way.

Plate - Overturn to win, Halla San to place.
Derby - Monterosso to win, Coordinated Cut to place.

Two win bets, and a double.
Two each way bets, and a double.

    Anyone thoughts on these ?

Monterosso for The Derby, One of my biggest bets ever. Got 5/1 a few days ago, Best priced 7/2 now. He has a serious chance against this lot.

Agree with Monterosso - must have a serious chance. O'Briens do not appeal and perhaps Bolger's two could be the surprise opposition.

On the Northumberland - a brave man to win bet in this handicap. I like Overturn, if he sees out the trip on the flat. You could do worse than a small e/w on Swans horses. Rajik ran better than result (bad ride from O'Brien IMO) in Ascot and is proven over 2 miles.

Im not sure, but my gut feeling is JM has got it wrong, badly wrong.. Which wouldnt be the first time.. Jan Vermeer now 5.1 on betfair, Way to big, really should be FAV..

I looked at this quickly and thought fanny crashthorpe was the name of the horse.

I was going to lump on Cape Blanco after hearing Johnny Murtagh would be its jockey but now i'm not so sure.

Agreed, although he had a poor draw that day. Good draw today and I've gone with him 14/1 e/w this morning.

Macarthur, is overpriced at 70 /13 on betfair, to come back to some kind of form, and has one decent run this year.. Worht a small bet at those odds

Cheers Greetings. Wasn't to be with Frankie, but the overturn single covered the other bets, so small profit for the weekend. Back to WC betting now !!
