A night out in Longford... without the pub

After reading a few of the threads started here recently (looking for unusual activities/decent nightclubs) I got to thinking: is it possible to go for an evening out in Longford without having to resort to the pub?

I can think of five options off the top of my head:

    Backstage Theatre
    Bowling Alley
    Cinema
    Football match @ Flancare Park
    Greyhound track

Anybody have any other alternatives (apart from "going for a meal")?

Knacker drinking down in the Mall seems a popular choice these days.

    Truly the choice of kings.
