All of a sudden over the last few days my Macbook (1st Gen Unibody) is overheating.

Even during the simplest tasks such as syncing an ipod or browsing the web the fan starts to come on a and the bottom really begings to heat up which is something its never done (unless playing intense games) in the last year and a half that i have it.

Anyone else having these problems all of a sudden?

Have you installed anything recently that might be running the background, crapware, anti-virus, etc?

Have a look in Activity Monitor (use the CPU tab) and see if there's any rogue processes running.
