Which Mobile Service Provider

Have been with O2 for over ten years now and called to a store seeking info on a relatively "new" model recently where was spoken to as if the mobile phone was a new product in Ireland today. Asked the staff member why they might recommend one phone over another and got a blank response. Asked also about the battery lifespan of the phone in question and they had to look up the specs... has anyone met a "sales consultant" in any mobile provider outlet who has a modicum of competency beyond knowing how many megapixels the phones have?

Some stores do have great people but they can be far and in-between. A lot of time it can be due to managers, they just aren't right for the job, and the store suffers because if it.
