I picked up a second hand set of Team Issue Carbon cranks. I naively thought that just tightening the bolt on the 'off side' would be enough but seems I maybe wrong as it needs tightening v regular. Anyone any advice? I would google it but @ the month am confined to surfing on my Blackberry and simply couldn't be arsed trying ti figure it out on a small fone screen

    short answer, replace it!!

k i've had a team issue in the past, pretty much use fsa cranks all the time, although i sometimes wonder why.

Right the trick is to tighten to proper torque, over tightening is as bad as under tightening. Also, use a medium strength threadlocker. Should pick some up in halfords.

Ah FSA cranks... I'd also replace them to be honest.

Yes they do, just google it. Was just kidding about replacing it, I've had the gossamer, team issue, slk and now running slk light with ceramic bb.

They're a fantastic piece of kit imho, you just need to stick to the two main rules of torque and threadlock and you will be fine. I've had very little issue with them. You've got a great crank there and the megaexo bb is fantastic.

Will invest in a mega exo bb when the time comes. Am running a dura ace at the mo
